This is so needed! I run multiple businesses and have been on ClickUp for over 5 years. We’re leaning very heavily into Super Agents, and many of our agent workflows depend on gathering context from sales & client meetings.
Right now there’s no way for our agents to have automatic access to our meeting notes (we have to manually share them after each meeting right now), which is really less than ideal given the number of meetings we take regularly.
We also use SyncUps for all of our internal conversations, which we love, but it would dramatically improve our experience if there was a way for our agents to have automatic access to these notes through an auto-enable workspace/shared notetaker setting!
I would be happy to volunteer to test this out if this feature ever comes out in beta 😉

We're a ~120-person software company running all meetings through Google Calendar + Google Meet. We need one persistent workspace note-taker on every call, with notes shared to attendees automatically.
Today the calendar-level auto-join setting (Planner → AI Notes → Settings → General) only applies to the Personal Notetaker. The Shared / Workspace Notetaker has no auto-join at all — workspace-wide or per calendar — so it has to be selected manually on every event.
ClickUp Support confirmed this to us in writing as a known gap and pointed us to this request.
The two cases that break for us
- One-off calendared meetings (client kickoffs, ad-hoc syncs) — no way to have the Shared Notetaker join automatically. Setting it on a recurring series works and persists across the series, but one-offs have no series to inherit from, so each needs a manual click that people forget.
- True ad-hoc calls with no calendar entry — manual selection every single time.
Recurring standing meetings are the only thing reliably covered, and they're a minority of our calls. The result is inconsistent coverage exactly where notes matter most — client-facing and one-off decision calls.
To be direct: we are actively evaluating alternative meeting-notes tooling, and a workspace-level auto-enable for the Shared Notetaker is one of the deciding factors in whether we keep this workflow in ClickUp. Happy to share workspace details if that helps with prioritization.
