Workspace Connect... Kinda like Slack Connect

Would be amazing to have the ability to connect workspaces so that the work we do with other organizations can live in a list that is in both environments. Right now if we're doing work with another business that uses ClickUp only one of us can have the Home/Inbox feature fully leveraged as the work lives in one workspace and not both simultaneously. Slack has figured this out and done a great job with Slack Connect where each business can have it's own instance of Slack while also efficiently connecting them in a way that doesn't limit or degrade any user experience. The real goal here is to actually have everyone who works have ONE inbox, and that's only possible if workspaces can be connected.

Hey everyone! The Product Manager for Integrations & Desktop, Tadej is looking to build this feature and would love to speak with any users that have asked for this or shared that this is a blocker to moving fully to ClickUp Chat.
What is ClickUp Connect for Slack Hub?
- 2-way sync between ClickUp & Slack
- Supports the ability to keep Slack connect channels and continue communicating with external partners (outside contractors and vendors)
- Allows teams to migrate to ClickUp Chat on their terms, meaning some teams can be fully in ClickUp Chat and some may still be in Slack (and that is ok as all messages would sync across the two!)
If interested, please @ mention me with your preferred time zone or reply to the email I just sent to coordinate a quick 15-minute call with the Product Manager. Thanks!

Tamlyn Koga sorry but what you've outlined is not what my request actually was. Sounds like you're trying to do some type of ClickUp Chat x Slack Connect sync/integration but my feature request actually has nothing to do with maintaining Slack and was simply me comparing what I want ClickUp to offer to what Slack has in their Slack Connect function.
Slack Connect allows two different companies to chat without switching workspaces.
My request of a "ClickUp Connect" is actually a request for ClickUp to allow separate workspaces to share lists (and chats).
The major use case is collaboration across businesses. Often times we'll hire a third party and they want us to work in their project management or vice versa. What would be ideal is if we could share one list to multiple workspaces.
And the main reason is to maintain a consolidated inbox and one point of notifications for all work.
I agree that what you've outlined in your response is useful, but I just wanted to be clear it is fundamentally different than the original feature request -- and I think the original feature request would actually gain ClickUp more users.

Agree with Ian here. It's not about connecting Clickup to Slack, its about creating a similar feature to Slack Connect that would allow the sharing of assets between Clickup workspaces.
With Slack Connect we can create a chat channel in our slack account, but have it appear in our clients slack account so they dont have to switch between workspaces to communicate with our team. They simply navigate to our channel that sits inside their slack.
I know the chat feature in Clickup is fairly new, but this is something I hear from many Slack users as a major reason they won't switch fully out of slack.
For clients who are married to Slack though, it would be interesting to allow a 2 way sync for communication between a clickup channel and a slack channel...

Joel Keddie, Ian Dickson thank you for your feedback. We are exploring ClickUp Connect as well, so would love to learn more about your use cases.

This would be a dream come true!
I had no idea that Slack already has a feature to connect two different companies in Slack.
I’ve been dreaming of this feature for years!
