Whiteboards | Show Relationships/Dependencies with connectors
Douglas Aguiar
It would be great to see the task relationships with automatically created connectors in the whiteboards.
The option to toggle this visibility might also be valuable.

Note that Jira has a Miro plugin that allows presenting cards (with controllable custom fields) and it will automatically display the required relationships between cards. Not a bad place to look for desired functionality.

Ability to Map Relationships through Whiteboard

Please let me upgrade the links that we create between tasks on whiteboards to relationship links (custom and dependency both).
Current planning workflow in Clickup is flawed as dependency mapping is done before date allotment and there is no easy way to plan dependencies and relationships visually.
Gantt View dependency mapping cannot be done until we are sure of it and thus this request.
Without this a lot of time is wasted in copying the same work.

Whiteboard as a view of a list (with its items) - Visualize and Manage Relationships
Mara
Right now whiteboard is a feature that is completely set apart from list. Sure, you can link tasks on it, but everything has to be done manually...
I would love to have a whiteboard as a list view :
- A whiteboard that would automatically add task cards from the list (in a dedicated side). And you rearrange it manually (well maybe you could ask for an automated arrangement according to specific info -priority, relationships...- but it seems a quite big thing to implement).
- You could decide whatever information you want to be displayed on cards (date, status, priority, custom fields...)
- And really important : show their relationships and dependencies !
If you could toggle a "edit relationships" and rearrange the connections between tasks in the whiteboard it would just be amazing! Right now, managing relationships is lot of work and it seems there is no way to visualize it !

Map Relationships via Whiteboards

I want to use arrows to create relationships between different elements on a whiteboard.
A new arrow with color significators (to differentiate between different relationships) could be created.
This is important as clickup has no easy way to map relationships with visualization.
Moreover, I don't want to schedule everything on Gantt chart first to create dependencies but rather want to create dependencies first while planning and then start scheduling them. (Reactive Approach -> Proactive Approach)

I made a related feature request here : https://feedback.clickup.com/feature-requests/p/whiteboard-as-a-view-of-a-list-with-its-items-visualize-and-manage-relationships

Other related feature requests :
I previously had another idea that is related to it (but isn't as functional as this current suggestion):

Yes please!
Right now it just doubles the work : I have to create relationships in the tasks and on the whiteboard.
I'd love to be able (with a toggle option) to manage my tasks' relationships in the whiteboard or have kind of a new whiteboard view of a list with tasks cards and relationships.

If a task is added to a whiteboard, it should show up in the Relationships section of that task.

If you can create a Whiteboard, why would you not also want to be able to reference it just as with Docs?

Blocking and Waiting Relationships should be represented on whiteboards

Perhaps an icon on the card that when clicked highlights and connects and focuses on the related cards (Waiting and Blocking). Perhaps also dimming the background that has the non related cards with an opaque black overlay?
As an addition, perhaps all the relationship connections can be toggled on and off without the dimming overlay with a separate button.
