All drawing tools allow you to hold shift when drawing with the pen tool, which draws a straight line. If I want to draw columns on my whiteboard or generally a straight line, it is not possible without that option.

✏️ Exciting update! In Whiteboards 3.0, you can now hold the Shift key while using the pen tool to draw perfectly straight lines. This enhancement makes it easier to create precise diagrams and clean designs.

Zach - ClickUp I don't seem to see any changes in my account. Is this being rolled out in phases?

holding shift on my MAC device and chrome does not work, it's very limiting and annoying not to be able to draw a line

I ve been using conceptboard.com as whiteboard for workshops with my team, while using clickup as management/scheduling tool for projects. It would be great to have a more advanced whiteboard with graphic toold, faster uploads and drawing, being able to connect 2 or more people at the same time to use whiteboard as workshop tool. at the moment is very slow and not for graphic content (no straight lined with pressing shift for example)
I'm happy to suggest more reccomendations and shift my entire work on clickup without using other apps.

Whiteboards | Draw Straight Lines

This could be a line tool, or just be part of the draw tool. A line tool would allow for straight lines in any direction. Drawing straight lines with the draw tool could be implemented by simply holding down ⇧ shift. This should make straight lines at and 45º angle. [0º, 45º, 90º, etc.]. Having access to both would be very helpful.

This would be great. I have a whiteboard at my desk that I use as my "imapct board" X axis is urgency, Y axis is Impact. Drawing lines would allow me to do this all in click up with my tasklist.
