I would love if it showed you how much distance was in between items, so that you could align items with similar distances in between them.

I also agree with this. In other diagramming tools, as well as slide presentation tools, you can also auto-align items with other items. For example, dragging a text box in Google Slides will automatically align in all directions i.e. snap to align the top of the box with another item. This would be really helpful

It would be really helpful if we could vertically align content inside of a shape instead of defaulting to middle. This makes using shapes with a lot content very difficult to read side-by-side.

I agree - objects in whiteboard should be able to be aligned / centred with the other objects. And shapes resized to smaller than is currently possible.

This is really critical, the document can't be shared unless it is clean. Needs to be intuitive a la Google Slides / PowerPoint / Figma / InDesign / Sketch etc.
