Really enjoying the new whiteboard feature but would love to be able to change the background colour of the whiteboard itself. Personally, I just want to be able to change it to a dark grey, but being able to change it to any colour to suit a workspace would be a nice touch I think.

Happy to find this request, but just dumbfounded that this has been open for years. I wouldn't have even let my team ship the MVP for this without such a basic thing as dark mode.

This is a good idea. Not only for the aforementioned accessibility quality mentioned earlier but simply as part of the overall design for dark mode users.

Waiting dark theme for whiteboard...

Workaround for Firefox users:

Setup extention Dark Reader
Enable it
Disable native Dark theme in Clickup
Make setting: More -> Filter

Enjoy totally blackboard =)

I'm not sure what you mean by step 4 - is this in Clickup or Dark Reader, I must be blind as I can't find anything that would fit...

I cannot use the Whiteboard as is because of my TBI. It would be great if you could treat this as an accessibility issue (which it is for those who cannot handle the blinding whiteness of that feature!), which then makes the service unusable until fixed.

Here to also request a black/dark background for the whiteboard. This app is almost completely perfect but not if I can't look at it! I have chronic migraines, so dark mode is literally a health/accessibility issue for me as staring at a white screen for too long will trigger an episode. Please get this out ASAP!

Almost 2 years now since the first request for a simple change of color for the background of the whiteboard. It must be infinitely complicated for you guys to implement it, right? it involves quantum physics and some other intricately delicate stuff. Correct? Or you just don't care blinding people with the too bright a white background. 2 years. Do you think you'll find a lunch break where a junior intern can implement this mundane change? somewhere in the coming 10 years perhaps. Can we expect it by 2033? is it a reasonable timing? Give me a reason why I should keep using clickup let alone move to a paid plan, if you don't care?
