Whiteboards | Click and drag mouse wheel to move
complete
Lucas Schapira
We use Miro for our whiteboards and is very useful to click and drag the mouse wheel to move when we're on select mode (or any mode). Having a feature like that on Clickup's whiteboards would make the decision to change from Miro to Clickup easier.

Hey all!
I'm able to click+hold the scrollable mousewheel and pan around the screen. Could you let us know if you're still experiencing this problem?
Thank you!

To move around the whiteboard, it should be as easy as clicking the button on the mouse. Using the board on Manychat is so simple.
The inability to simply click your mouse to "grab" the board and move around is so frustrating, to the point of me not being able to use it.
Way to time consuming without this feature.

https://app.diagrams.net/ is also having this feature when pressing and holding down the middle or right mouse button, you can move the view. Very useful, fast and intuitive!

To clarify this feature request: Pressing down and holding the 'click' on the mouse wheel (not spinning the wheel) and then moving the mouse should pan (move the view), not move objects. This "middle mouse button" can be handled uniquely on the HTML canvas element used to render the whiteboards.
The entire AEC industry uses this method for navigation in all their BIM/CAD modeling and drafting software.

Hey there! We are working to improve dragging and moving your Whiteboard.
Currently, you can use the shortcuts keys "V" to select and "M" to move when on Whiteboards.
Alternatively, using the "Control" key will toggle between zoom and scroll for the mouse scroll wheel!

Just hopped on here to request the same feature, middle mouse click could also work for dragging (like in AfterFX or Cubase), that way right click would be saved for other functions.

I'd prefer it to be the "hand tool" that pans around the workspace. Would be cool if there was a setting where we could make it either the move tool or pan tool.
