Whiteboard Improvements (even after latest changes)

Recently I was excited to see the whiteboards make a leap in whiteboards, but upon usage I noticed they are still lacking in a lot of ways. To put this into perspective, i recently tried out zooms version and that version actually competes with Miro in almost every way (before they added tables) while clickup still feels clunky and missing things as basic as PDF imports.
Just a few things I noticed missing
- Comments, REAL comments, the temporary ones are great but there needs to be real ones.
- PDF Imports
- Ability to have inline changes to text in shapes such as bold or colors to some text in a shape without forcing the rest of the shape to be the same format
- Color Changing of frames. It's amazing that we can have frames that nest like figma, but them being the same color makes them hard to differentiate.
Less important but still noticable, something about the graphics seems off still. Maybe it's everything just being sharp rectangles or overly thick lines I can't put my finger on it honestly. At this point, our office is more likely to look at zoom for whiteboards than clickup. (same can be said about zoom docs vs clickup)

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on our recent update Tony! We appreciate your feedback and are always looking to improve.
We're actively working on enhancing the whiteboard experience, and your suggestions are super helpful.
- Comments - We're about to start this project in the next week or two at most! Coming soon.
- PDF Imports - You're right that this isn't supported yet. However we allow other file types to be uploaded to the canvas. I'll chat with the team about what is limiting us from including PDF.
- Ability to have inline changes to text in shapes such as bold or colors - known request and we're working on it. Rich text formatting is in progress and we plan on delivering this update hopefully in a month
- Color Changing of frames - On our roadmap and we plan on getting this done early next year.
Stay tuned for updates, and feel free to share any more thoughts you have!
