Hey ClickUppers!
We've a major speed update for Task view. Previously, some tasks took a long time to open. Now, we've updated the way we manage tasks that have a lot of data. This means that your tasks will load quicker!
More speed improvements are coming your way very soon—including task activity optimizations!

Performance has become terrible again. Over the past months ClickUp has become really slow. All my colleagues are complaining about this.

Stefan Kuhlmann Yes, I second that, I noticed it got slower somehow recently.

Stefan Kuhlmann, I agree - Performance is terrible.
I have been using ClickUp for a long time, and recently, I needed to add a day to my week just to keep up with ClickUps slow performance.

Hi ClickUp,
ClickUp is great, I use it pretty much all the time for more or less anything I'm working on.
This is why for me, performance matters. At the moment it's definitely got better with the v3 release but I think you've still got work to do.
I would like you to focus on performance above new features for now, personally :)
Everything else UI wise is great!
Joshua Borger
Michael Allworth Totally agree with this. Love the product, but there are performance issues that are seriously affecting productivity and they need to be fixed as soon as possible.

I prefer to stop your development, releases, and start immediately to fix the performance issue, its very slow, you have an issue in loading guys.

Please do something urgent about performance... by now the speed is a big issue
Valerie Sindal
Rui | FX: Agree. I received a notice on the latest updates and it rebooted my desktop app and web version. Since then, none of My Work on the Home view is loading... Waleed Elaghil are you guys doing anything about this?
Esther Lopez
Unfortunately, Clickup seems to be getting slower and slower. I've tried it in Safari, Chrome, Brave, and Duckduckgo browsers and all the same thing. Desktop and mobile apps too. My guess is that Clickup is trading ambitious feature development, over speed and performance.
Clickup, PLEASE put as much TLC into speed and performance as you do new features. New features are fantastic, but NOT if everything is too slow to load, rendering new features useless.
P.S. Haven't seen a difference with 3.0 release, and in fact, it seems to be even slower with 3.0
Is this just me or are other people experiencing this too?
Madeleine Krenzlin
Esther Lopez: Absolutely agree, same here!
Natalie Williams
Esther Lopez agree completely, it's getting slower and slower. Focusing on improving speed and reliability over adding new features feels like it should be a no-brainer, but...it seems that new and shiny trumps efficiency, which is too bad as it's pushing me to explore alternatives.

I still notice this in 3.0 some pages take a while to load, and need a refresh when they don't load at all.
Sam Williams
I could almost squeeze a nap in between navigation loading... sigh.
Natalie Williams
Sam Williams I get up to make a cup of tea while it loads then come back to an error message that the view can't be loaded... it's getting so painfully slow.

From some weeks on, ClickUp is super slow. After the creation of a new task we should wait too many seconds to do any action. Changing view is the same: too many seconds to load everyting. Managing tasks with ClickUp is becoming really hard. I'm using Windows App.

Hi, we're new to clickup so we haven't even got half of our jobs in the system and already the speed is so slow it is becoming unmanageable. Is this something you are continuing to work on? Any suggestions on how we can increase the speed?
