Voice Typing on Docs Like Google Docs
Krystal Clark
It would be amazing to create docs with a voice to text capability so that I could write a blog post or email newsletter just by speaking. This would be a feature identical to the Google Docs Voice Typing Capability.
Here's a Loom Video to share this feature and how it works in Google Docs and How it would be a game changer for Clickup!

Exactly what I thought!! the functionality of voice typing inside documents and task descriptions would be amazing!!
If Google docs has it built in, why not Clickup??

As we have in our macs that we can be visiting any site then we select a text click que right button and then select voice reader same we should have for docs and descriptions at ClickUp, we should have the posibility to just write a long text then sit back and listen to what we wrote. On a separete note as an accesibility featured and best practice, you should have the in docs the possibility of dictation, meaning that instead of typing I just click a button and the app automatically will type my words better yet if the app is capable of recognize several languages.
Thanks

I agree with Balint Pataki, I would rather you concentrated on other CU upgrades and not reinvent this particular wheel.

So the thing is that you can use both windows and iOS for dictating and it's very resource-heavy feature so I would rather click up not focus on it and let the Giants do the work like Apple or Microsoft because it's very resource intense work. This text was dictated by Microsoft I just quickly edited a few words. Also if they don't have the accuracy but the other programs out there have then it's unusable and it's a waste of resources

OMG YES! This would be amazing and would reduce my need for Google Docs

Record a voice memo is extremely valuable for me. Most other apps in this niche have it. I hope to see it added soon. thank you

Voice to text is a differnt thing from audio notes. I use both very often to quickly record my ideas and convert them to notes in Google Keep.
Voice to text is possible with Google voice typing in Android. This is not like Google assistant but just clicking the audio button on the touchscreen keyboard (install google keyboard) and google Voice transcribes your voice into text.
A custom field 'audio recording' could be useful apart from that. Let me know what you think..
