We visualize our "epic" tasks in the Timeline view. These can last anywhere from 1-4 weeks, and during this period, the epic might move between statuses, in particular a "Waiting" status if a blocker presents itself and we must pause the work.

This would be a really great thing to visualize on the timeline view. You can imagine the status colors changing over time on a particular task. It would also be interesting if it were possible to hide statuses so that a single task might start and stop multiple times rather than always be a single contiguous block.

Already can imagine that a complicating factor is that there's no feature for retroactively changing status in time.
