Showing vertical periods of time would be a great addition. For instance, in my Excel (which I hope to replace for ClickUp once this features works) I have marked the busy periods with a light red color. They cross our projects (in blue) vertically. This way, we can plan our projects/to do’s with the high season, events and campaign periods in mind, so basically taken the workload in account.

Definitely would be a helpful request for our use. We work in the event industry and use the Gantt view primarily, so many of our lists, tasks and milestones take place sequentially in the lead up to a major milestone that transcends all project areas.

It'd be really handy to be able to 'embed' a vertical milestone on the Gantt view or colour block out certain dates to visually represent where these major milestones (events) take place

Add vertical lines for major project milestones : GO/NO GO, the event date, end of phase 1...etc

Should appear like the "Today" vertical line
