Variables in email templates

Just as you could add variables to the emails in automation, You should be able to use the very same variables in the regular email templates.

Automatted Emails allow for Custom Fields / Variables.
But ironically they don't allow for the Email to be pulled. Which prevents me from using Automations on this.
Variable / Custom Fields In Email Templates do not allow for Custom Fields in Templates or emails.
So The Irony is If one or both of these features happen. It would open up my team to allowing for more adoption.
Our Team is needing to be able to trigger emails and automations with Checkboxes. Which would just Type the Name of the Task Name for the Team Member its being sent to. Which is why we need either this feature or the other one.
I know if your a staple in the Clickup community any chance you can share this thought with Leadership?
Thanks again!

Enthusiastic +1! I need to be able to quickly add any native or custom field from the task into the email I'm composing in the Activity panel and to an email template. If I'm emailing the requesting user or the user's manager for approval, I need to include the request information - task ID, description, user, priority, impact, date requested, system name, request type, etc. This would be extremely useful. I don't think I can implement email without this.

We need the capability to set up a quick access link (variable) to the relevant ClickUp task from an email reply in cases where the reply is viewed in the email client rather than directly in ClickUp. It makes the most sense to set this up via either an email template or via the email signature template.

Yes please! Having the email automation is great, but what we also need is:
a) List-specific email templates so we can include pre-filled task data, like the automation offers
b) Top action bar option to Email using template
One use example we have of ClickUp is receiving journal submissions via a ClickUp form, which we then allocate to teams to rate, and then send out emails based on whether a work is selected, rejected, or requires more discussion. This works great with the email automation, but if we then need to send a follow-up, or send a specific template at a specific time to a few specific people on the list, we would need to be able to select those tasks and Email as template, including information from the task in the email.

+1 on this! This will save us a lot of time and decrease the risk of human error when sending emails as part of our Recruitment process.
