Use App Language for Autocorrect (Windows Desktop)

Using Windows Desktop Application.
I have my language in the app set to English, yet I still get spelling autocorrect in German (really bad suggestions as well) because that's my windows language.
The browser has no trouble with this, it even shows English and German suggestions both.
Still the suggestions are not stelar but at least I don't get my whole text underlined because I write in English.
The Web version (screenshot) is just what I need for desktop

Same trouble here with Italian:
spell checker randomly underlines words that are for sure well written and gives alternative words having absolutely no meaning in Italian.
On English documents it underlines English words suggesting Italian words that sounds similar. This also happens even if my Windows, Office, etc. settings are fully switched to English.
I contacted Customer Services and after analysis they told me that the issue comes from my (work) PC.
Unfortunately I have the exact same issues on my home PC...
