I would like to submit a suggestion regarding an improvement to the task merging functionality in ClickUp.

Currently, when we merge two tasks, the link (URL) to the task that was absorbed (merged into the other) becomes inactive. This makes it impossible for users who have saved the old link to quickly find the new, combined task.

My Suggestion:

I propose that after two tasks are merged, both original task links (URLs) should automatically lead (e.g., via a 301 redirect) to the target task that remained in the system.

I believe this change would significantly improve workflow smoothness by minimizing "broken link" errors after organizing and consolidating tasks.
