Subject: Feature Request – Indented Previews for Replies in Activity Feed

Hi ClickUp Team,

I’d love to see an improvement to the way threaded replies are displayed in the activity feed. Right now, replies to comments are only visible if you click to open the thread, which makes it easy to miss important follow-ups or discussions.

My suggestion: Please add an option to show a 1–2 line indented preview of each reply directly beneath the original comment/activity in the main feed. This would make it much easier to spot ongoing conversations at a glance, without cluttering the interface or requiring extra clicks. Limiting the preview to just the first line or two would keep things tidy, while still surfacing key information.

Thank you for considering this upgrade! It would be a huge help for keeping team communication clear and efficient.

or at least hightlight the thread dialogue box so we can see them clearly with task activity..

Yes, its a big issue. Please get this done asap. Messages are geetibg lost in thread and comunication plus important information is getting lost.

Agree 100%, the UX on comment replies is not good, they can be hard to find and see.

Please please please can we add this feature! Perhaps a toggle to collapse all / open all replies for the whole task? But I agree, they should be expanded/unfolded by default

Still a problem.

It is easy to reply to a comment from the notifications when you are mentioned. But then as the person who gets notified of the reply I can only agree they do get lost as soon as you clear the notification.

It's also extremely unclear when a reply is even there unless you click on it to expand. It just doesn't catch your eye. It would be better to always have them expanded, or at least have the option to set it that way.

I would even rather have it so that it's impossible to reply through a current reply, but through a new comment.
