We have managers assigned to projects, and they approve the time for their projects only. Our developers can log time against different projects with different managers. It would be awesome to have "approvers" assigned to lists/folders/spaces instead of individuals to approve those.

You're still able to change your timesheet, despite it being approved? or am i mistaken? So it doesn't actually lock, it just gives an approved status.

The same need exists in our company.
In addition to assigning approvers at the project (list/folder/space) level, it would also be very helpful if the timesheet submission process allowed users to send their timesheet to a specific manager for approval.
This would give much more flexibility, especially in scenarios where developers work across multiple projects with different managers, or when approvals need to be redirected due to holidays or workload distribution.

Yes, it would be fabulous if the project managers can approve their project hours. This is currently keeping us from retiring our current hours tracking system. Additionally, we need the ability to "change hours" to be disabled after the time approval is complete. Thank you for considering this feature update!

we are looking forward for this feature. we are a prof serv team operating by the same model of projects and ppl hours approved by project manager. each project is the equivalent of a list so being able to se approvals by lists would be great

Great work team! Just one feedback, I think we need to add that when there's a deadline, it should prevent people from submitting/editing time sheets in the past. We just don't want people to change time sheets after a specific date, that's the whole point of requesting an approval!

In our case, we have several people who are on different projects with different approvers. It would be great if approval would be discriminated against by folder/list.

Juan Grandas Our team has begun using the timesheet approvals feature. Thanks very much for implementing it.
We do have feedback, and I'm not sure where to share it. I'll share it below and anywhere else you suggest.
- Why can't we approve/dispute individual time records individually (checkbox)?
-When time approval comments do appear in the inbox, clicking on the name of the timesheet does not take the user to a view of that timesheet.
- When a given timesheet is approved, there isn't a notification for the submitter (in the inbox?)

Juan Grandas Is adding the ability to export a report on timecard approvals on the roadmap? this feature doesn't work very well for reporting and accountability right now without it.

Juan Grandas thanks for the feature! unfortunately the notifications specific to timesheet approval reminders/activities aren't showing up on our end. I've filed it as a bug report for now, hope it gets resolved soon.
I was also hoping we could just use ClickUp API calls as a workaround. Got informed it's a feature request at the moment though.

Hello, I'm testing the app and I'm really enjoying the experience, but I'd like to make a suggestion regarding the timesheet. It's very interesting the way it was developed. But, if possible, its visualization could be more flexible, with selectable periods, allowing us to choose the start and end dates of the analysis (and not just analysis by week), so that we can view the information in the way that suits us. For example, view them: by month, bimester, quarter, semester, year, etc.
And if necessary, a way to export the time control.
If possible, I would appreciate it if you could pay attention to this update.
