Timer hard to see.

The timer/time tracking feature is set up in a way that makes it really easy to forget it's even running. You do have a Chrome integration, but that’s not ideal either, since you have to manually search for the tasks. The best version would be a timer that can be started directly from the task (as it is now), but one that is clearly visible—something that stays on top of all programs and is always in view.

Hello Katarzyna Tichnowetzki - thank you for your feedback.
I understand the the indicator at the top right corner of your ClickUp tab/app is not sufficient for this need, correct? You are looking for something that can indicate the timer is running outside of the browser boundaries if I captured that correctly.

Bugra Oktay Hallo :)
Yes, the timer is indeed a bit too small – it’s easy to forget it’s even running.
Suggestions for improvement:
Larger display within ClickUp:
It would already help if the timer were displayed significantly larger. Ideally, you could also see which task is currently being tracked – at least when hovering over it with the mouse (tooltip).
Display outside the browser:
An optional timer that’s visible outside of ClickUp – for example, when working in other programs like InDesign – would be very helpful. It would be important to have a toggle option:
Show only within ClickUp
Show across all programs
Discreet display for specific situations:
There are moments when the timer shouldn't be visible, such as during a client call when sharing your screen. That should be taken into account as well.
Pause function:
There’s no easy way to briefly pause the timer without stopping it completely. Especially when quickly grabbing a coffee or being interrupted, this would be very useful.
Conclusion:
A clearly visible, optional, and configurable timer with a pause function – that would be a real improvement for daily work.
