Time Estimates per assignee be retained when task is reassigned

When task was reassigned, the hours allocated to the previous assignee was removed. Is there a way to retain the time estimates per assignee even when the task is reassigned and the previous assignee was kept as watcher?

100% agree with this feature!
This is also helpful for automations -- in our Client Support List, we have an automation to assign new tasks to the manager of that space. They then reassign those tasks based on the team bandwidth, qualifications, etc.
At the moment, that original estimate is now getting removed for reduced in half.
