Time Estimate by Assignee
Simon Anderson
Currently you can filter "by Assignee" in Dahsboards, but it shows the sum of all hours on a task. If 5 people have time estimates, it will show the sum of all five, even when I've filtered down to one person. Please include a "only count time estimate for Assignee X" functionality

Show Time Estimate "Only for Selected Assignees"
Simon Anderson
Across all widgets and dashboards, when you show "Time Estimate" it shows the total for all assignees on a card. This renders the metric useless when you're trying to create dashboards for one team member.
For example:
What % of your time are you spending on Client X next week?
What % of your time are you spending on Work Type Y this month?
A solution for this would be including a "only count Time Estimate for selected assignees" tickbox for when creating widgets that use the "Time Estimate" field.
Please see the screenshot for a really good example of how the Time Estimate field is useless if it can't be filtered to specific assignees. In this case, the Dashboard should only represent "Jared." Note it does for his Time Tracked, but Time Estimate includes every team members hours for cards that he was assigned to.

yes, big data calculation flaw. Should be priority to fix this

agree, this should also apply to dashboard widgets or data exports to excel. We define the time estimate per person on a shared task, but the data is always presented as a combined user time estimate. I haven't found a way to extract a user time estimate (let's say 10h) if different team members have a total of 80h time estimate on a shared task...

Vincent Boutin: Yes, we are facing the same problem! Dear ClickUp team please add this the time estimate per assignee to the data export, views and widgets!

Vincent Boutin Agree on that. I was looking for the support ticket today and came across your comment. I would like to request Time Estimate by Assignee per task they assigned instead of the sum of all subtasks or a parent task.

this is a huge issue for our team and would be insanely helpful to see time estimates by user by month more accurately - cannot even pull this data out of ClickUp to process - it is very frustrating
