The Time estimate field's capability of rolling up subtask time estimates is really useful, however the inconsistency of display units is maddening, perplexing, and unhelpful. My team estimates work using days, so having the time estimate show as something like 2w2d in the single task field and then showing the calculated sum of task time estimates in hundreds of hours is confusing, and necessitates the clunky workaround of adding a second formula field to convert the Time estimate into days, which leads to confusion about which field to fill in/look at and adds unnecessary clutter. Please consider adding the ability to properly pick the display unit of the Time estimates, it'd prove an invaluable improvement to my team's workflow.

When we write time data in estimated time, it is now set in hours which can be frustrating.
Everytime you enter a new data you have to wait for ClickUp to process that you specified ‘m’ for 'minutes' behind the number before you press ‘enter’. If you go to fast, it will just set hours instead of minutes.
I suggest to able users to choose ‘minutes’ instead of ‘hours’ as unit of time by default for estimated time.
Or another unit of time for their liking.

It would be great if ClickUp would adapt its displayed time according to the amount of time we're talking about. It does it already with minutes and hours, but what about when it is consequent amount of hours, could it be displayed as working days or even working weeks ?
Especially in the calculation line at the end of your list !

It displays hours and minutes even when great amount of time. It is difficult to project. Counting days or weeks could be easier.
Examples for my suggestion :
16h → 2d (16h)
11.5h → ⁓1.5d (11.5h)
56h → 1w 2d (56h) or 1w 2d (7d)
78h30m → ⁓10d (78h30m) or ⁓2w (⁓10d)
or reverse the time unit in bracket :
16h → 16h (2d)
11.5h → 11.5h (⁓1.5d)
…

Please add a feature to allow us to track project time in Days as well, as projects may take up to months to execute. Having the option to view in Days will be an added benefit.

Hi there - it's very hard to compare 112hrs, divided by eight, into 2wks. If I am telling my team that the ballpark estimate for this project is 140hrs in February and they want to know if we have a week to spare or not, I certainly don't do calculations like that off the top of my head routinely - and my producer certainly won't either. Does ClickUp want us to use a calculator every time we convert time estimates for long term periods, or will there be a fix for this "feature"? The fact that it converts weeks into 8hr days is also not inherently consistent with everyone's workplace. It would be better if the input time stayed in the format it was input in.

I agree, my team does not like seeing hundreds of hours, when we should be able to see days. Please add a feature to allow us to track time (specifically on Gantt) in days as well.
