Whiteboards look much worse and more amateurish than before.
- We've lost control over font size, separate from the shape.
- We've lost bold, italic, and font variety.
- We've lost solid shape fill.
- We've lost organic arrows.
There's more, but this is what's annoying the most.
How could they do this?
Despite this, it crashes less and is faster. But design trade-offs are unacceptable, in my opinion.

Totally hear ya
- We want this too. It will be done, just not immediately.
- You can use rich text by using hotkeys like CMD+B for bold. We still need to add it to our menus though
- Same as point one. We will fix this.
- What do you mean by organic arrows?

Thank you for your attention here. This is really special and stands out.
By organic arrows, I meant those that look hand-drawn on the board, giving a lighter and more natural feel to the visuals. Take a look at the image from the old model.
To wrap up our project, I had to move my whiteboard work over to Canva. But I truly believe it will soon be appealing to come back to ClickUp — it would be great to return.
I believe it’s worth investing in your whiteboard system. Visual resources will continue to gain even greater importance.
What we expect and look for in a whiteboard is freedom.
It stops making sense when the restrictions stand out.
