Team Alias @mentions do not consistently trigger notifications for all team members

Our company uses "Team Aliases" (e.g.
@CONTENT
, @ADV
, @DESIGN
) to notify operational teams instead of mentioning every individual user.The expected behavior is that every member of the mentioned Team Alias receives the same notifications (Inbox, desktop, mobile push, and email, depending on their personal notification settings) as they would receive from a direct @mention.
However, this doesn't seem to happen consistently:
users can see the task and the Team mention,but many of them do not receive any explicit notification, while direct user mentions (@John) work correctly.
We also checked every user's notification settings, and all mention-related notifications are enabled. There is currently no separate notification setting for Team Alias mentions.
Could you please clarify:
- Is this the expected behavior of Team Aliases?
- Are Team Alias mentions supposed to trigger the same notifications as individual @mentions?
- If not, is there any workaround or is this feature currently planned?
This functionality is very important for our workflow because we rely on Team Aliases to notify entire departments without mentioning every member individually.

It would be nice if I could notify an entire team in a channel chat. So like:
"Hi team @seo xyz... " and then all members of that team will be notified in their Inbox.
