Being able to color the tasks on the calendar by the Task Type would be a great feature. I could see this meaning you set the color when you create the Task Type - default is gray but you could change the color, which would reflect on Calendar Views (Color tasks by Task Type) and icons.

There are definitely areas where it would be beneficial to see a color associated with a Task Type.
For example, in a board view, looking across multiple columns for tasks of a specific type is made significantly faster when looking for a color instead of having to read text or interpret small symbols of the same color.
