Task should have a "description" that is smaller, and not scrolling out of the screen, but stays under the title. It should be restricted to what needs to be done, who wants it and what is the goal. Max 2 lines.

All other details and knowledge should be somewhere else, maybe in the current expandable blob window. The activity window should be smaller and narrower. The task fields take almost 40% of the whole screen. (Dates, Priority, etc). There should be space to put screenshots with description. The whole layout is a horrible waste of space.
