Rohini: I'd also like to have this feature implemented. It seems like this doesn't work for now.
I work in educational and I am creating a course with several chapters (my main tasks) which are each alimented by 4 sections (my subtasks).
I feel like having 0% progression in my chapter feels wrong when I have my 4 sections at 67%.
The progression should show in the progress bar of the main task since chapter 1 and chapter 2 can't be said to be at 0% if the progression of their sections is not the same.

Richard Mas: It seems like the main task progress bar is affected when the subtask status is marked as "closed", not "done".

I'm using ClickUp 2.0. I see there are progress bars (manual) which is so good!. It would be amazing if we could select a way to calculate a progress bar for a list or project (for example, it could be a simple average of tasks progress bars, or it could be a weighted average considering time estimates, for a baseline calculation. There's even a great way to see final calculations, giving priority to time reports over time estimates when available, allowing you to build a final progress report)
Also please allow us to see the progress by coloring the Gantt bars. It would also be great if you added a "right now" vertical line in Gantt view pointing to the actual day, and time.

It would be great if the task progress % also factors into the Goals % complete. Currently, a Goals Target only considers tasks as open or closed and in progress tasks do not drive any visual progress in the Target
