Enable ClickUp Docs (or Doc Templates) to include {{placeholders}} that auto-merge values from the current task or via automation (both default fields and Custom Fields). From any task, users select Generate Doc from Template, and ClickUp resolves placeholders into a new Doc attached to that task. This is not MS Word templating; it’s native ClickUp Docs merge.

Automations could also trigger when to apply the task details to the {{placeholders}} template (status changes, updates, buttons, etc.)
