Since clickup has a brilliant and good looking systemwide command center, I was wondering why is it that commands like create a note, or create a reminder or create a task have to open the whole interface.

Why not simply have a floating window which is resizable and movable?

This would be really helpful as I can use it to clip important bits of information from websites, or create a task while watching a full screen video. The possibilities are endless
