From support ticket: task that was added to List will not sync to calendar integrations with the List that it was added to.

Just ran into this one and it's pretty annoying. No one wants to have to subscribe to five different calendars when we could make it one.
Can we merge the below from Staff Clubhouse Luci N. & Cass Chan?

This is one of three types of feature requests made with the same common goal of control over selective visibility of items in a calendar sync, and users in all three feature requests are looking for the same thing in multiple threads (I’ve provided links below to all three). If Clickup patches these up, they will truly have a shared calendar killer on their hands, but, until then, the 1-way calendar sync isn’t as useful and powerful as it could be. At the bare minimum, feature reqs 1 and 2 need to have their separate requests (most of which are well-voted) merged, and secondly this question of visibility needs to be looked at more generally.
Feature Req 1: There isn’t granular control of selective list sharing in the creation of calendar sync (ie no filtering mechanism when creating a calendar sync.
Existing Feature request:
Feature Req 2: Calendar view filters are not applying to tasks show up in a calendar sync at the space, folder, or list level.
Requested Already here:
Feature Req 3 (this thread): Non-home list tasks don’t go into a calendar sync. Surprisingly, only one user has also found this (I noticed the general calendar sync conundrum when I had issues with this particular problem and went looking for workarounds):
Fixing 1, 2, or 3 will fix your problem, so devs just need to decide which is the easiest to implement and users can work with that solution. @DamonRyan @Cass Chen, please ask developers to focus on this, and at the very minimum merge all of the duplicates in Feature Request Types 1 and 2 so that it can organically reach a proper visibility threshold in the request chain.

This would be a REALLY helpful feature... the need to only have certain items visible in a personal/company calendar is totally normal, and as we cant part sync lists via criteria, we have to create this view with a separate list...

I often add tasks across multiple lists using 'add to list feature'. 'list A' with 10 tasks may have 5 task created directly in the list and 5 tasks 'added to the list' from list B.
When i sync list A using the calendar sync feature to ical, only tasks directly created in list A sync not all the tasks, including those imported form list B.
I would make more sense to me is all tasks in the list synced whether they are directly created in the list or added to list later.
