Lifecyle management of users in any IT system is a mandatory BASELINE requirement.
(This one is mandatory. Sorry clickup but really should never be within a voting scheme to be implemented. The admins are few in number .... but we pay the bills. )
An item like this will never get popular votes. But from IT security and business assets security standpoint the risk is that management decisions go against solutions that do not have proper user management processes in place to protect their data. Really suggest such items as this are implemented urgently even if their vote counts are low. Otherwise the result can be the whole organisation votes with their feet by moving to other solutions that meet the IT department's view of minimum acceptable processes.
In the real-world, people get hired, fired, resign, are suspended from work, can return to work after disciplinary action.... etc. Every other IT platform knows this and permits the admin to simply 'suspend' or 'lock' users PLUS ability to change their password.
Requirements:
- suspend (lock) user
- unlock user
- change password
- reset password
- ideally remove/re-apply 2FA for an individual account (for admin checking, impersonation and testing)
- across all levels of subscription. This is not an item Enterprise only. This one is a minimum baseline requirement.
And agree with Meggie - must be implemented in a way that does NOT fire off any notifications.

Allow Admins the Ability to Disable or Suspend Users
Meggie Eltz
Most other programs that house important data for companies will allow an admin to "lock" a user out of an account by resetting a password, suspending the account, etc. A terminated company member in a remote org can do a lot of damage in our workspace if they wanted to - we should have the ability to suspend the account immediately once a user is terminated instead of having to simply "delete" the member. Deleting the member alerts the entire company to the fact that they have been terminated by adding a "deactivated user" tag to their profile avatar, which means we have to choose between risking that a terminated employee plays around in our ClickUp or risking our employees found out about a terminated employee accidentally.

Suspend access instead of Deleting user
It would be great to have the option to only suspend access to a user, so everything maintains the same in case you bring (add) that person back again to that ClickUp Workspace.

Wes are you able to merg these for better tracking or does Luci N. or Sydney need to do this?

Ryan MacAlmon: Merged! Thanks Ryan!
