would be helpful to give sub tasks a light shade of different color so its easier to see at a glance what is a task and what is a sub task

Especially in Gantt View, for a large project this would be VERY helpful.
A 15% lighter shade on Sub-Tasks - hard-coded - would be a good start, (but make sure text is visible inside the Gantt bar color.)
