Strikethrough for completed tasks
Rob Leslie
Use strikethrough on the name of completed tasks in list view so that they're easier to spot.

Almost 7 years and this hasn't been implemented yet, amazing! I still have to use marks like **** to visually denote a task is completed

I cannot believe this still has not been implemented. I find the task check off visually confusing and annoying. There should be a simple way to strike through completed tasks by now- this is such a basic function.

I upvote it as well. Visually a strikethrough gives much better clarity. Proven by neuroscience and organizational psychology. It aligns well with the way our brains process information and adds a visual element to signify progress.

This would be incredibly helpful. It's sad that it's been almost 6 years without a response.

Please implement this!!!!! I think v2.0 had it but somehow in the v3.0 this feauture is missing. This is absolutely necessary. Please give us at least the option to activate/deactivate it

Yes - please implement this!! I'm surprised there are not more votes for this. Every other to do list, task app, and project management tool has this option. Our brains are hard wired to cross things off lists. In ClickUp, not only is is difficult to tell visually what tasks are not complete because they are not crossed out, the completed task status is GREEN by default, with no option to change the color. In my mind, green means go -- which translates as a task that needs attention. I would very much like a strikethrough option for done and completed tasks, or at the very least the option to change them to gray.

Give us more options to add/edit text color, size etc. or task row background color in list view.
Similar to Excel or MS Project

the need to strike thorough is as obvious as. Sometimes a task is finished but may have need to filed or discussed with someone or call to confirm receipt or a million other things. One can not go on creating lists for all those other things but it is sensible and motivating to strike thru and do the follow up items later b4 closing or passing the items to another list or status.

Yes, please. It would be extremely helpful and motivating to be able to see the tasks I've completed and crossed off the list.

Sigh... surprised this too was not already a feature. Why are the simple and most logical common things missing from Clickup ?
