When the date range in the Workload view is changed, because the text is variable width, the arrow buttons and "Today" button to the right of the date range shift according to how many characters the date range takes up.

When this happens, the arrow buttons sometimes shift further to the left, which can cause the "Today" button to be where the "Next" arrow used to be, which resets the Workload view to the current date range. This is very inconvenient when attempting to view a date range several months into the future, as one click can reset the range entirely and there doesn't seem to be a way to easily change the date range without using the arrow buttons.
