Standalone iOS/Android Time Tracking app
Martin Currie
It doesn't need to do anything more than the existing app - just less:
Currently, to track time when away from your desk you need to:
- touch the app icon
- touch plus
- touch track time
- [most likely] scroll down to the task of choice [because its a really short list taking around ⅓ of the screen]
- touch the task you want.
With a dedicated app, items 2-3 and a good amount of 4 would be removed from the equation - a massive time-saver if you do this frequently. It will also reduce the overhead that makes it less likely that you track time.

I currently favour tracking time separately in Clockify as it allows me to see the running time on my mobile and in the menu bar of my computers, regardless of the application I am using. It would be great if there was a standalone ClickUp time tracker that could do the same, then I wouldn't need Clockify.
As it stands, I can only see my running time in the app or the browser when actively looking at the task/task list. Ironically, I waste valuable time tracking in Clockify and then manually entering the final elapsed task time in ClickUp for metrics!

This may be the same as: https://feedback.clickup.com/feature-requests/p/mobile-clickup-app-with-timetracking-startstop but please only merge it into that if it's absolutely clear that the app in development is a two-touch standalone time tracking app
