Sort lists alphabetically automatically

Would love a feature that keeps the "sort alphabetically" feature even after adding new lists to a folder. So that we don't have to choose "sort alphabetically" every time we add a new list :)

Each time we add a new project, which is quite frequent, we have to re-sort the list.
As this is a 'Space setting', having selected the A to Z option, I would expect it to apply everytime I or anyone using this workspace navigates to it.
I would expect to have the ability for it to either auto-sort A to Z, or manual, (or Z to A may also be helpful as mentioned below) but I would expect this to apply on-going.
This currently seems less of a 'setting' and more of a one-off action.
Not the highest priority, but a definite and repeated annoyance.

This is one of my top pet peeves with clickup - it's such a chore having to manually sort everytime we add a folder or list

It would be helpful to either automatically have or be able to turn on a feature that shows a list in alphabetical order even when it is grouped by status, field, etc.

Agreed with Tom Horn! Sorting in reversed order (Z-A) would be also a great improvement when using numbering or dates as most recent items will be on top of list!

The feature of "Sort lists to A-Z" (In Folder->More) should also have an Z-A sort feature, as well as an auto sort of course. My case: Each list name is a date (2021-12-26), and I wish to view the most recent list (date) on top, automatically.

100%. I literally ALWAYS want my folders sorted alphabetically, so having to go in and resort them every single time is cumbersome and inefficient.

We have a Project Management "space" with folders for each project labeled by project name. Anytime a new folder is created it drops to the very bottom of the space and has to be manually dragged up to the correct spot or the space must be auto-arranged A-Z. Even this wouldn't be a huge deal, but only Admin level users can auto-arrange A-Z so are constantly being asked to do so by standard users. It would be great to have a setting to always default to A-Z at the space level based on folder/list name.
