Sort by status order in list view (not alphabetically by status name)

It would be super helpful for our team if we could sort all tasks across all projects by "status" and have them appear in the order our of our status-flow.
It's currently possible to sort by status in list view, but instead of sorting in order of your status pipeline (as they would be in board view, or everywhere else), the list is confusingly sorted alphabetically by names of statuses.
This means that if your workflow order is INFO > BACKLOG > SPRING PLANNING > CURRENT SPRINT > QR sorting them by status in list view will display them out of order, like this: BACKLOG > CURRENT SPRINT > INFO > QR > SPRINT PLANNING

Status sorting now follows your workflow!!
Sorting by Status now uses your location’s configured status order instead of sorting status names alphabetically. Tasks follow the order of your workflow, like To Do → In Progress → Complete.

Wish the status sorting was functional across all views. Sorts by intended order in the board view perfectly, but other views are nonexistent or sort by alphabetical order. Makes it very difficult and time consuming to find what I need depending on what view I’m in

It is very necessary to sort the calendar by status; it is impossible to work with the calendar and tasks without sorting.

As a paying customer of multiple workspaces since 2020, I'm curious about
❓How is it possible that a project management software company can't provide project timelines or REGULAR progress updates?
(on projects that are allegedly "building now")
> 2018 June - SORT tasks in list view by status in order
> 2019 September - Subfolders (all-time HIGHEST VALUE/VOTED)
Most PM software users would call these ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS from the beginning, rather than nice-to-have features.
I'm living on the fumes of hope since the newly updated "building now" status starts with a "B" and since list view only sorts status in alphabetical order, it's now on top of the SORT in list view and may now get done before we are all another 6-7 years older.

Michael Van Doorn any update on this topic? When will we be able to "sort by status" in the natural way that should be the option from the beginning? Sort status by alphabetical order doesn't make sense and is not logical. Thanks!
