Sort by status order in list view (not alphabetically by status name)

Matthew Cooley
It would be super helpful for our team if we could sort all tasks across all projects by "status" and have them appear in the order our of our status-flow.
It's currently possible to sort by status in list view, but instead of sorting in order of your status pipeline (as they would be in board view, or everywhere else), the list is confusingly sorted alphabetically by names of statuses.
This means that if your workflow order is INFO > BACKLOG > SPRING PLANNING > CURRENT SPRINT > QR sorting them by status in list view will display them out of order, like this: BACKLOG > CURRENT SPRINT > INFO > QR > SPRINT PLANNING

Caroline Ginty Any updates? Grouping is not a viable solution.
Dani
Caroline Ginty can you please pull this up and splatter it all over every developer you have's desk and ask them to stop being dense and fix this in 30 minutes?! Nobody on any planet wants to sort statuses alphabetically. 🤦♀
Also your work around does not fix this situation at all because the whole point is we need to group by one field and then sort within those sections by status.
Dani
This is the dumbest dumb thing that clickup has ever done. And there are a lot of dumb things that y'all have done 😂

For the love of all things sane, this should definitely be apriority. This is basic BASIC stuff for a PM tool.
Another example that confirms that tehre is NO way CU are using CU themselves or this would've been resolved years ago.

Expected and basic functionality for a task management tool but SIX YEARS and counting... Still NOT marked as PLANNED. :|

Fix this please. It is a huge hole in the product. Some of the fancy stuff you guys are releasing is great. But this needs to sort in the order of the process / status... alphabetical is prehistoric.
