Hey all, thank you again for your feedback on this post. With the launch of ClickUp 3.0 we've seen strong improvement in performance. Overall app performance has increased by 2x, tasks and List views by 3x, and search is 5x faster!
We've also launched RapidViews DB, an innovative new database technology that loads that largest and most complex views almost instantly. Views that previously took 30 seconds now take around 1 second to load!
Having focused on performance and speed improvements in 3.0 we'll be closing this post.
We understand, though, that each ClickUp Workspace is unique so if you are still experiencing slow speeds in your Workspace, please reach out directly to our team here so we can investigate with you.

Not sure how this is marked as complete? Clickup is slower than it's ever been. 3.0 has been a disaster on every front! Features removed, and speed reduced!

I'd consider reopening this - IMO a task management tool should be fast, to be able to navigate, jot down thoughts & scour through with ease.
Things taking 1s to load up per each click is really hard to (efficiently) work with.
eg: "Open task" -> 1s, "Add Description" -> 1s, "Close window" -> 1s

O dia é 23/05/2024 e o Clickup está extremamente lento para executar qualquer ação. As funcionalidades dele são muito boas, mas vai chegar um momento que isso será insustentável, infelizmente

You should have a local version of ClickUp that works similar to "Anytype". The speed difference makes all the difference in the world.

Luci N. Sometimes I wonder if clickups idea of speed is the problem? When things connect properly it's pretty fast, but often connections get dropped and then things don't update or display properly and the whole feels like it's just being slow. I see constant web socket errors in the browser console when this happens - which is often. I generally use the desktop app though so I]m not constantly monitoring the console - thats the devs job anyway, not the end users! By far the worst view effected is the calendar. It almost never updates properly without constant hard refreshing. I'd call this slowness but I suppose it's more like a complete lack of being able to connect to the servers at the right time...
Does some of this have anything to do with the fact I'm in the UK and you have no European data centre? Many things make me wonder.
