This automation ensures that the parent task always reflects the actual progress of its subtasks. When all subtasks have a start date and an end date, the parent task automatically receives the oldest start date and the farthest end date between the subtasks. Additionally, if all subtasks are completed, the parent task is also marked as complete. If a new subtask is created or a subtask returns to “in progress”, the parent task's status automatically returns to “in progress”.
