Show the sum (total) of items in lists, in filtered views, in grouped views (i.e. per status)

Currently the lists and filters and groupings give no indication of the amount of items they contain. Such insight is very often needed and I see myself counting items manually, which is a tedious thing for long lists.
Think about for example the amount of 'agenda items' or 'attendees' or 'sold items' ..anything requires insight in the totals.
I think the absence of totals was based on the initial idea of 'tasks only' in Clickup. We are far beyond that at this point, and custom item types to replace tasks are already planned.
ideally, the whole display of lists and filters should be improved in order to allow display features to be turned on and off by users.

Just a note - if there is a filter applied it should only show the number of filtered items. In this example there is only one item, yet it is showing all 13 as it is a copy of the project board. Not sure if this is what others are suggesting but that would be helpful, thank you! :]

Yeah I'm still not sure how to better see total costs, # of tasks, and progress percentages per List as well as Folder. Portfolios isn't doing the trick for a few reasons as you can't customize or filter, group or sort... Plus you have to create a custom dashboard for Portfolios and seems showing cumulative items at a list or folder view is essential.

Yes, in List view I need to see total estimated, total logged and total remaining change when I apply filters. Currently it only shows the totals across the entire list even after filtering. Perhaps it could show both - the totals overall at the top and then the filtered totals underneath?

I would love to see this for the $$ column too!! I use this for client management as well. It would be great to see the total sum at the bottom of each column kind of like an excel sheet or airtable.
