Show Google Calendar events in Workload view
Megan Ellman
[from ticket] I want to include my events from my calendar/Google calendar on my workload?
It looks like I have availability/capacity for more tasks but then I realise I have 3 meetings for 3hrs

I think that more than "show", it should take meeting durations as non workable. If i work 40 hrs a week, but everyday i have one 1hr meeting, my availability should decrease in 5 hrs
OR
Considering this 5 hrs as part of my load

Let's go ClickUp team! +1000 for this feature!
it would make my planning a lot easier as I wouldn't have to go out of ClickUp to check someone's calendar to see they're out of office or Slack if they messaged that info.
Should be visible in Workload, and maybe even as 'red dates' in the ticket start/due date calendar picker when assigned to someone who cannot work on those dates based on their Google Calendar.

This is really disappointing that this is not available! Doesn't make sense, as my google calendar is integrated with Planner, but then not linked with the workload view. Should be quite easy to integrate. Please fix.

Ditto. I tried to achieve this using automations to transform G Cal events to tasks, but even then was unsuccessful.
It'd be helpful to have a feature enhancement for Google Calendar Automations. Currently, when creating a task from a Google Calendar event, the “Time Estimate” field only accepts a static number. I would love the ability to dynamically set the task’s time estimate based on the duration of the calendar event (for example, if the event is 90 minutes, the task’s time estimate would automatically be set to 90 minutes).
This feature would make automations much more powerful and help ensure that tasks created from calendar events accurately reflect the time commitment required.
Thank you for considering this improvement!

Ricardo Clerigo - On the Clickup Side we need to have the option to add a meeting towards the workload. User maybe double or triple booked and just follow a meeting but not actually attend.

+1 , actually +100. This is so important for myself and several VC clients I work with.

+1 for this suggestion. It would be incredibly beneficial for my entire team. We initially assumed this feature was available, given that ClickUp integrates with Google Calendar. However, it was disappointing to discover that meeting events don't appear in the workload view. This makes the workload view inaccurate, as it reflects availability that may already be allocated to meetings/ other calendar events.

I’m excited and hoping to see this feature implemented this year!
