For the longest, I thought it was me...turns out it's not. So, here's what I'm testing to see if it helps:

Create an automation for when a status changes from OPEN to UPCOMING, it creates a calendar event in my Google Calendar. I literally JUST discovered this, so I'm going to test it for a bit and see if it provides the solution I need.

I just made the same discovery right now...

I use Proton Calendar, unbelievable cannot see future recurring tasks.

Gonna try to find another Project management tool....good features, but too many missing essential features.

How are we suppose to efficiently schedule tasks or rely on our Google Calendar if we can't see recurring events? Talk about me over committing to things; unless Life=ClickUp and I never need to reference my Google Calendar - or this sync issue (which doesn't sound too bad right now). Yes the more time management becomes a priority, the more people rely on a calendar. What I do not understand is why after 5+ years has this not been resolved. This is a core function of a productivity tool and here it is midnight and I am catching myself taking some 'AI Agent in List' survey thats being pushed from the top down. How about 'AI Agent in Calendar' that way you can make corporate happy as well as your customers. 2 birds, 1 stone!

I can agree with Anna below that the integration doesn't make sense without the recurring tasks shown. Also, it would be great if there was an option to disable some of the calendars within main calendar to sync, because then it shows duplicates in my Calendar view.

So disappointed we still don't have this - it makes the integration with Google calendar essentially pointless for me.

thought this was a bug, but its a missing feature...damn, makes using clickup to manage calendars essentially useless for me -_-, so close

I would love to see this!! Currently I can't really use my Calandly account with click up as my recurring tasks arn't showing as busy on google calendar (which calandly reads from).

The only way round this is to mark it in my google calendar which mean duplicating the work I am doing for recurring events, or putting in each task individually. Even having an option to create each recurrence as an individual task or sequence would be ideal!
