Show empty fields in List view, when grouping by Custom Field

Currently, when you group by a Custom Field in List view, if there are no results for a particular field option, the Custom Field option does not show.
This is not useful if you like to move things between custom fields by dragging tasks.
For example, if you have a List grouping by a Dropdown Custom Field for each day of the week, but you have no items with the option "Thursday", Thursday simply does not show on the List.
It would be useful to be able to toggle empty Custom Field groups on, so that Thursday could be shown.
You can do this with empty Statuses and dates, but not Custom Fields.
You can also show empty columns on Board view when grouping by a Custom Field, but not List view.

I really want to see when certain Custom Fields are empty. This is not possible in List View, right now, unless you know all your Custom Fields off by heart so don't need to see them.
Can we please get a clear empty row for Custom Fields with no Tasks, so we can see clearly that that grouping has none?

Another use case: I want to have a list called Projects and a list called Tasks. On the Tasks list, I have a custom relation field linking to the Projects list. I want to group by Project so that we can easily add tasks to a project, but this workflow will not work, because I cannot see any projects (which are set to be the groupings) until there are already tasks... but I cannot add tasks, because I cannot see the project... (Why not simply use a single list with Projects represented by tasks and Tasks represented by subtasks? There are a few reasons, but one is that filtering becomes problematic with subtasks.)

We can show empty rows for Statuses with no Tasks, so obviously you guys see the value in seeing empty groupings.
We just need to be able to do the same for empty Custom Field groupings, empty Due Date groupings, etc!
Also needed for Grouping by Due Date for areas like "Tasks Assigned to Me", because otherwise it's easy to get confused by not seeing empty days.
This is, in general, really important when you need to know that certain Custom Fields/other groupings do not have Tasks under them.
Hopefully an easy win!
Also, maybe the title should be changed to "Show empty fields in List view, when grouping by other options that aren't Status, eg Custom Fields and Due Dates".
