Show Custom Task ID/Task ID after form submission

When submitting a form it would be helpful for our team to have the ID for the created task. This would be useful for finding the task later, internal messaging for topics discussed in another tool (like Slack), or searching for the created task and attaching to an intercom conversation using the task ID.

As much I would like to see a reference number upon click the submit button, we have found that using an automation to send an email to be a great alternative - not only can you send the Task ID, you can send a copy of everything submitted and additional information to help set expectations. There are other options with the automation process that may work better for a given situation. Still, I'm casting my vote to add this feature.

Patrick Holz this sounds great for external communication, but requiring an additional channel internally feels undesired if clickup aims to be the only tool.
When used as a means to streamline inter-team task creation, forms should provide a quick guidance to initialize tasks, and the submitter may want to edit further.
A simple example is that the default Description editor in the form is lacking a lot of features compared to the "normal" editor, but linking tasks is also a valid case for after-submit editing.
While email is a possibility, I believe the goal should be to stay withing clickup as long as possible and this simple feature should be an easy step to provide that.

Barnabas Geller certainly, for internal purposes, sending a notification via the internal chat or to the submitter's Inbox would be options. No single solution meets all situations. As one that has submitted many improvement requests, I have found that I usually need to find a work around to get something that at least gets the job done. Forrest was submitted 4 years ago (almost to the day) and we are still waiting. So alternatives are worth mentioning, since most requests require thousands of votes to make even bring it under consideration, Forrest's request is not likely to make it to production.
