in BOARD view, should be able to click on the Status ... menu and select "Move all tasks in this list to another status list"

I agree. This suggestion/request would be even better than trying to fix the "Select All" feature that doesn't currently work because it only selects the visible tasks on the screen instead of
all
of the tasks in a Status list. But an option to move all the tasks with one click would be great.
