Set Working Days for Part Time Workers

For Capacity view, it would be good to have a feature to set working days so that the weekly capacity doesn't get spread over 5 days if staff are only contracted to work three days per week.

Thanks Vasil, great to see this is going to be built. We have a part timer on a fixed schedule (4 days per week with the same day off each week) and one on a two week schedule (Mon-Weds in week one, Mon-Thurs week two, etc).

Helpful, that splits neatly.
Your fixed four-day person is covered by what we are building: a schedule with its own working days, hours and holiday calendar, assigned to them.
The two-week rotation is not a pattern the schedule understands. The closest thing that will actually work is to set them to the wider of the two weeks, so Mon-Thu including the Thursday, then mark the Thursdays they are not working as non-working days on their schedule. Right capacity, and task dates stay off those days. It is roughly 25 dates a year to enter though, so it is a workaround rather than real support for rotations.
One correction on my earlier reply, which was too broad. You can already set a person's working days and daily hours for capacity today, on Business Plus and Enterprise, from Workload: https://help.clickup.com/hc/en-us/articles/30799771936279-Set-capacity-limits-in-Workload-view
What does not exist yet is that being a reusable named schedule with its own holiday calendar, one that also keeps task dates off those days and that you can point at a whole team or a Space. That is the part in build. 👍

Wanted to reply directly since you raised this two years ago. Working days per person is the part that fixes your capacity problem, and it is in build now. Are your part-timers on fixed days each week, or does it move around?

Reopening this one. It was closed during a cleanup of older posts rather than because we decided against it, and it is now in build. From the kitchen: an admin will be able to define a schedule with its own working days and hours and assign it to a person, so a three-day contract stops having its capacity spread across five days. Same mechanism covers different hours per person, and a holiday calendar per schedule. Marking it planned. 🙌
