Set watcher based on who submits form

For tasks that are created via forms, it would be awesome if the watcher for a task could be automatically set based on who submits the form.
Alternatively, could we set automations based on any "people" field (not just assigned/watcher)? For example, I have a "submitted by" field, and I'd like to set an automation that automatically tags this person in a comment when the status is changed on the task. Currently we can only set automations based on the assignee or the watcher.

Hi, I love this feature but seems it did not work for me on who is being added as the watcher when they submit form submission inside click up
I put the automation few days ago still click bot seems not recognising it.

With Automations, there is the ability to set a watcher based on task creation!
The Automation Action "Change watcher" to "Task creator" will set the watcher when a Form is submitted.

Mike Elder if you check the task, does it say who created it? On a public form this would of course not work.

I think having an automation that sets the watchers to any custom field with the "People" attribute would be awesome!

And also recognize the submitter as the creator of the task (instead of ClickBot) in case it regards a quest user that does not have 'full access permissions'.
