Set default priority
Adam Hill
Rather than having "no priority" as the default I would love to set a default "normal" priority globally (or in spaces/lists)

Another workaround: create a dropdown custom field named "priority", in which you can set a default value. (You can also add a flag emoticon in the fields and/or change colors).
But of course, it would be better if this would be included in the default Priority field as provided by ClickUp.

+1 It would be very helpful to set a default priority type by space. Most tasks are not "No priority" and depending on the space it could be that most tasks are, let's say, "High priority" or as Adam mentioned, "Normal priority".

+1 This would grant more custom experiences for users

Another way around this might be to allow negative priorities (so, default priority is always 0)
and combine that with the ability to change the priority colours: https://clickup.canny.io/feature-requests/p/change-priority-flag-color

+1 - We would really like this as well, because now a new task within a list can easily be passed over

Agreed! This seems like a very obvious, and easy, thing to implement. As a new user, I found the current behaviour annoying straight away.

Agreed. The way it's current set, the "Low Priority" flag actually sorts higher than "No Priority", which is a defect. My recommendation is make the Normal Priority the default, AND....make that flag clear, so that anything other than Normal stands out visually.

Yep, I just discovered why this is important!
In a given list, if you mark something as urgent and opt to sort on priority... voila, it goes to the bottom!
But if you then mark another task as low priority... it shows up right underneath the urgent one instead of at the bottom of the list where I'd want and expect it.
