Set default country for phone numbers

I've created an enquiry form using the new Forms on my website but when testing it doesn't recognise UK phone numbers from the phone field as it appears to default to USA. Is there a way to set your country as a default in the system settings

Hi everyone - we are currently working on this feature via by extending the (existing) default values feature. For phone fields, you will be able to set a default value that only includes a specific country code; today, you need to set a full phone number, which is a lot less useful!. Can't wait to get this out to you!

Following up on ticket #2167455, I wanted to highlight a persistent issue for Brazilian users of ClickUp Forms. The default country code in the phone number field is consistently set to +1 (US) instead of +55 (Brazil).
This causes incorrect data formatting, complicates automation workflows (especially with tools like Make), and creates a poor user experience for our Brazilian users who have to manually change the code every time.
To address this, one potential solution could be for ClickUp to automatically detect when the platform is being used in Brazil or when a user selects Brazil in their profile settings, and then default the phone number field to +55. This would provide a seamless experience for Brazilian users without affecting others.
However, considering implementation complexity, perhaps a more readily achievable solution would be to implement a setting that allows the ClickUp Workspace Admin to choose the default country code for their workspace. As we've seen in the community, this would benefit users worldwide.
Both approaches aim to greatly improve data accuracy, streamline automations, and enhance the user experience for Brazilian businesses (and potentially others globally).

Appart from fixing this for forms, it's also important to do the same thing regarding "telephone custom fields", as there are also some issues with this. My suggestion is that there are a setting for "default phone country". Then, in every phone field the default would be used, but the user could also change it manually when needed.

A default won't be helpful for companies that operate across multiple countries. Could users simply type in their country code instead?

Hei there! I use a form for our customers requests. I would really appreciate to set the default country flag to the forms costumer field (telephone) either automatically to the customers country or fix to my companies country.
