Select multiple tasks and drag in timeline view

It would be really handy to be able to shift click (or something along those lines) to select multiple tasks in timeline view so I can drag them ALL back or forward in time.
I find myself spending too much time moving individual tasks forward or backward in time when I have to adjust a task in the beginning that requires all other subsequent tasks to be adjusted.

This is such a key feature - its really hard to work across multiple projects effectively without this!!

This is essential. For someone who needs to manage hundreds of small tasks on a linear schedule, the timeline view becomes impossible for me to efficiently maintain without the ability to quickly offset large groups of tasks by a single day or a week or w/e. A "click+drag box" option for selecting + shifting multiple tasks would be ideal.
