See where templates are being referenced or used (e.g. automations, task templates, pinned templates)

being able to see what template is being used for what would be amazing. We are currently cleaning out our templates and most we forget which template is being used and for what

Indication of when a task template is pinned in a location

It would be helpful to identify from the Template Center where a task template is pinned. This makes it easier to know what downstream effect deletion of the template might have.

Not only be able to see how many times a template is used and where, but also on each Task, show which template it is using, if any.
THEN... give us the ability to MASS CHANGE anything using an existing template if the template is updated - ideally a "preview" of what would change if we update that task to the new Template.

- To start, display next to each template, the number of places where it is applied.
- Then find the most appropriate place to display the list of places where it is used > open the list next to the number or in the template editor.

It would be very helpful if ClickUp introduced a dedicated 'Related Field' or reference indicator that clearly shows where each template is currently being used (e.g., in automations, tasks, views). This visibility would significantly simplify template management, especially when cleaning up or modifying existing templates, by quickly identifying their usage and relationships.

100% agree - this is a big pain point for us right now, as we are trying to tweak things and no longer have an accurate view of where templates have been embedded in automations.

Agree this is a very needed feature for anyone trying to keep their templates under control in a big org. What would be great is to click into a template in the template center and then have an area where I can see where what automations that template is used in and in what areas it's being used as a default template.
